THEFT AND CONVERSION
YOUTH ADMITS MANY CHARGES Special to TIIE SUN CHRISTCHURCH, Today. A young man, John Harold Halliday. aged 18, appeared in the Police Court yesterday on nine charges of theft and one of the conversion of a motor-car. He pleaded guilty to all charges and was committed by Mr. E. D. Mosley, S.M., So the Supreme Court for trial. According to Chief-Detective Carroll further charges were pending.
