ANNUAL FUNCTION AT KING’S MANY FRIENDS ATTEND B orated with long lines of gailycoloured tlugs, wtyich also draped the walls and intermingled with long branches of punga and nikau, the hall of King’s College presented an animated appearance yesterday afternoon, when a large gathering of parents and friends attended for the annual distribution of prizes, which were presented by Archbishop Averill. At the conclusion of the speeches Several rollicking chanties were sung by the boys; these were followed by afternoon tea in the dining hall, while lovers of music appreciated the organ recital given in the chapel.
