NEW GOLF SECRETARY
MR. SLOAN MORPETH’S SUCCESSOR Out of more than 30 applicants from various parts of New Zealand, Mr. L. Wilson Taylor, of Kohimarama, has been chosen to fill the position of secretary of the Maungakiekie Golf Club. Nlr. Taylor succeeds Mr. Sloan Morpeth, who leaves shortly to take up an appointment in Melbourne. Mr. Taylor is a retired army officer. Ho will take up his duties at the beginning of the New Tear, and he will havo charge of lioth the Titirangi and One Tree Hill links. '
