BEACH IMPROVEMENT

NARROW NECK WALL Devonport Borough has almost completed its M'ork on the formation of a promenade along the beach at Narrow Neck. A wall of ferro-concrete, sheath piling has been constructed under contract, a total cost of about £3,600, and forms a support to the concreted main road. It is designed as protection from the inroads of the seas, -which at one period almost undermined the road.
