TWO AUCKLAND FIGHTS

THOMAS TO MEET MACDONALD TO FOLLOW SARRON-GRIME CONTEST Following the bout between Pete Sarron, of America, and Billy Grime, of Australia, in Auckland on December 27, the Northern Boxing Association will stage another contest. This will be between Billy Thomas, of Wales, and Lachie Macdonald, and will take place at the Town Hall on either January 13 or January 20. At Wellington on Monday evening Sarron defeated Grime, but the bout was excellent and the secretary of the Wellington association, in a communication to Mr. J. H. Watts, secretary of the local body, states that the pair drew a re'eord house and another fight between them would be a great attraction.
