CHARGES RIDICULED
GERMANY AND CHEMICAL WARFARE MINISTER’S DENIAL BERLIN, Monday. The Defence Minister, General Greener, ridicules the French charges in the Chamber of Deputies. He said he could not help smiling at the apprehension of the world’s most strongly armed nation concerning Germany, which had no modern equipment. "We adhered strictly to the proscriptions of the Versailles Treaty, *nd we have made absolutely no preparation for chemical warfare.”
