Arrest of Masked Men at Christchurch
BURGLARY CHARGES EARLY MORNING CAPTURE Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Today. ■ln the Magistrates Court today, Janies Wilfred Gray, 19. and Charles Robert Gray, 17, were jointly charged with breaking and entering a shop in Chester Street with intent to commit a crime. Gray, was further charged with being found with a .44 calibre rifle in his possession with intent to commit a crime. The police stated that accused were caught in the premises mentioned about 2 o'clock!! this morning. They were in possession of masks and one had a rifle-barrel which had been sawn off short. Accused were remanded to January 7. Bail was not applied for.
