SAND-BAGGING AND THEFT ALLEGED TWO MEN KNOCKED DOWN Press Association WANGANUI, Today. Yesterday afternoon the police arrested two youths, under 15 years of age, on charges of theft and sandbagging two Wanganui residents. They are alleged to have prowled about late at night, firstly stealing door nobs and curtains to make sandbags and later, in quest of vidtims. The two men who were waylaid and dropped report that no money was missing. One who was knocked down in Bell Street on Wednesday night still has a big lump behind his right ear. The Children’s Court will deal with the boys on Saturday.
