FIRE AT RABAUL
SERIOUS DAMAGE DONE OUTBREAK ON WHARF SYDNEY, Tuesday. A radio message from Rabaul states that Carpenter's stores and a wharf on which there were “.,000 tons of copra were burned. It is also rumoured that three natives were burned to death. Schooners on adjacent slips were severely damaged. The fire is still burning fiercely. The damage is estimated at £.">0,000.
