AUCKLAND CLUB’S TOURNEY •a ] The semi-final of inter-section play in the Auckland Bowling Club's fuO-rink tournament was played on the Auckland green yesterday afternoon between J. ’ Hosking (Carlton) and A. Parsons (Ponsonby), who had tied in section B. Hosking won after a keen contest by 3 9 points to 18. ; The final between J. Hosking and G. ’ Hosking (Carlton), winner of section A, , will be played tomorrow afternoon. CLUB TOURNAMENTS The following skips have entered for i the Grey Lynn Bowling Club's tournament to be played tomorrow:—Miller, ’ Xewton, Potter. F. Preston, J. Reed, Hawke, Sanderson. McCulley. There are • still a few vacancies. A pairs tournament will be played tomorrow at the Rawhiti Club’s green, commencing at 9 o’clock. The following skips have entered: —Parker-Hill (Papatoetoe), Moore (Onehunga), Clark, Brown (Dominion Road). Thomson, Murray, Macpherson. Austin, Brown, Robertson, Hardi castle. Jackson.
