PUPILS’ CONCERT
ELLERSLIE GATHERING A very successful concert by the pupils of Miss Beryl A. Poulton, assisted by well-known artists, took place last Thursday evening in the Parish Hall. BUerslie. The pupils taking part in the excellent programme of quartettes, duos, trios and solos were: Joyce and Lonia Chapman, Doris Blackford. Lorraine O’Gorman, Ray Holland, Jean Tangney, Linley Walker, Doris Wright, Willa Wilson, Nesta East, Elenor Emery, Dorry Prince, Connie Christmas, Patsy Chisolm, Emily Elliott, Rona Tilby, Fhylis Blackburn, George Holland, Albert Blackford, Clifford Davison, Roy Sargent, Howard Ironside and little Ken Johnson. Tlie Moore Sisters, Miss Mary Cofield and Mr. Reg Richards, who kindly assisted at the entertainment were very well received by the large audience. During the evening several of the pupils received prizes for the highest marks gained in the different examinations that have taken place during the year.
