papatoetoe celebration MUSIC AND DANCING Decorated with streamers and flowers jn shades of pink and mauve, the residence of Mr. and Mrs. T. It. Richards Margaret Street, Papatoetoe, made a picturesque setting for the guests who were invited to celebrate the birthday of their daughter Zoe. A very enjoyable programme of musical items was contributed and fun was added with a number of novelty competitions. The successful competitors were Miss Kona Wilier ton. Mrs Holmes. Mr. A. Willerton and Master ti. Childes. Mrs. Richards received the guests wearing a pretty frock of peach crepe do chine, with side drapings of silk lace. Miss Richards was daintly frocked in shell pink crepe do chine, finished A.-th shoulder posy. Among those present were: Mrs. A. Willerton, black silk faille with relief of gold lace; -Mrs. .1. WHky’ gown of patterned crepe de chine with gold trimmings: Mrs. Mains, floral crepe ,le chine, with beige reliefs; .Miss Elsie Thomas, bla -k crepe de chine, with uppliqucd satin flowers in shades of peach' Miss A. Willerton, salmon taffeta with frilled skirt, featuring uneven hemlineMiss Moll' Wellington, ivory crepe tie’ thine; Miss Tui Moray, lemon crepe de thine, with flounces of silver lace; Miss Yolamle Willerton, coral pink satin heaute: Miss T. M. Willerton, orchid pink crepe de chine, with trimmings of silver lace; Miss Clarice Hamilton, sea green crepe de chine, with silk lace trimmings' Miss Marjorie Weidall, ivory crepe de thine, witti tiered skirt: Miss Estelle Boucher, ctfeum satin with overdress of silk net.
Miss Betty Meyworth was In powder htue crepe de chine; Miss Kathleen Gubb. ivory crepe de chine, with trimmings of silver lace: Miss B. McQuarrie, paeon blue rayon with overdress of silver lace; Miss M. Kendall, art blue pleated silk, with corsage of oriental rayon; Miss R. Willertnn, salmon pink crepe de chine; Miss Mavis Nairn, floral voile with silk trimming; Miss Daisy Wills, electric blue silk marocain: Miss Sylvia Goldsworthv, salmon pink crepe de chine and coffee net; Miss Roma Drake, cyclamen crepe de chine, finished with diamente trimmings; Miss Joyce Henson, almond green silk repp.
