REGENT, EPSOM

The double-feature film programme to be presented at the Regent Theatre (Epsom) this evening, is headed by “Not Quite Decent,” an amusing com-edy-drama of New York night clublife. The story tells of a woman (played by Louise Dresser), who remade hbr life by working as hostess at a cabaret. One night her daughter came in with a gentleman of uncertain habits and there are many dramatic incidents as the woman tries to shield the girl without disclosing her identity. The second feature also deals with New York. This is "Joy Street,” starring Lois Moran in a story of the fascination of the stage and the bright lights of the city.
