UNFAITHFUL HUSBANDS
WIVES GRANTED DIVORCES Because of her misconduct, Veronica Kidd (Mr. Sjmpson) was granted a decree nisi against Trevor Robert John Kidd, by Mr. Justice Smith in the Supreme Court today. The petitioner said the marriage took place in April, 1922, and they had lived together here until December, 1925, when her husband went to Tauranga to work. She had not since lived with him. In July. 192 C, she obtained a maintenance order for the child against her husband. He admitted misconduct when she saw him in August, 1927. After evidence was given of the existence of on affiliation order against the respondent in the ~ Magistrate’s Court, his Honour granted the decree. Confirmatory evidence of misconduct was given on the petition of Linda Dominion Burns (Mr. Sullivan) against Kevan Francis Burns. A farmer stated that he had engaged Burns and a woman who passed as his wife iri September, 1927, and they lived on the place as a married couple until Burns's arrest in October. A decree nisi on the ground of adultery was granted.
