BREAKING-UP CEREMONY BIG PRIZE LIST 1 be Auckland Girls’ Grammar School broke up for the holidays this afternoon. when the annual prize-giving ceremony took place. The head-mistress. Miss E. NT. Johnston, M.A.. in her report, stated that tho roll number on March 1 was 554. an increase of one over that of the previous year. A special feature . : the year was the publication of an anthology of verse, containing selections from tho school magazine over a period of 20 years. Miss Hull, who tatted tho volume, deserved the greatest commendation. Sports were followed with tiio greatest enthusiasm by all pupils during tho year.
