PARISH FAIR AND CHRISTMAS TREE The parish fair with Christmas Tree held recently in the Mangere East Hall was a very successful function. The proceeds are to be devoted to tbe funds of the Anglican Selwy-n Church, Mangere East. The function was opened by tbe Hon. G. J. Garland, M.L.C.. who spoke of tbe good work done by the ladies’ guild Tbe stall-holders were:—Fancy work, Mesdames Key and Newson; produce, Mesdames Cutfield and Pulman: cakes and sweets, Miss Bridle. Mrs. Still and Miss Buri*ell; Christmas tree, Mesdames W. W. Massey, H. Leoghlan, Miss Tims: refreshment stall, Mesdames Norrie, Blanford, Saussey, Monteith and Newbury. The baby show competition was won by Baby Roberts.
