ADDRESS BY MISSIONER At the Fabian Club on Saturday night a lecture was given by the Rev. Charles Chandler on the power of oil in world affairs. Mr. Chandler was a guest of the club, and the occasion marks his farewell to New Zealand. Air. Skuse was in the chair, and Air. Chandler’s remarks were debated by many members and guests, including Dr. Alildred Staley, Airs. Drury, Aliss Greville and Messrs. Wilson, Alontgomery, Anderton, Richards, Boswell and Dr. Hastings.
