PRESERVER OF MAN

CHRISTIAN SCIENCE SERMON "God the Preserver of Man” was the subject of the lesson-sermon in First Church of Christ, Scientist, Auckland, yesterday. The golden text was from Psalms 145, 20, "The Lord preserveth all them that love him.” Among the citations was the following from the Bible: —“Whither shall I go from Thy Spirit? Or whither shall I flee from Thy presence? If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell In the uttermost parts of the sea, even there shall Thy hand lead me, and Thy right hand shall hold me” (Psalms 139. 7,9, 10). The lesson-sermon also included the following passage from the Christian Science textbook. "Science and Health, with Key to the Scriptures”: —"God is infinite, therefore everpresent, and there is no other power nor presence.”
