PAPATOETOE WATER SCHEME
OPENING CEREMONY FRIDAY Arrangements have now been finalised for the ceremony of officially turning on -the water supply for Papatoetoe at 2.30 p..m on Friday next. The function will be held at the overhead railway bridge at. the junction of Station and Shirley Roads. The opening ceremony will be performed by Miss McLaughlin. Mr. A. W. Hall. M.P.. for Hauraki. and late chairman of the Town Board, wilt be present, and invitations have been Issued to representatives of all neighbouring local bodies to attend, and also to past commissioners of the Papatoetoe Town Board. At the conclusion of the ceremony a luncheon will be held in the hall.
