A “TALKIE” NUISANCE
The following amusing conversation was overheard in the Regent Theatre Wellington. A small girl was evidently witnessing the “Talkies” for the first time. The little one listened with great interest and excitement, but seemed to be disturbed by the continual coughing of a man sitting just behind her. “Mummie,” she said at last, “why does the man keep making that noise?” “Because he has a cold I expect, darling,” replied the mother. “Well, Mummie, why doesn’t he take some ‘Baxters’ ?” Baxter's Lung Preserver is unrivalled for preventing coughs, colds, ’flu, and all chest and lung troubles. Also possesses splendid tonic properties. All chemists and stores stock the generous-sized bottle at half-a-crown: economical family size 4s 6d; bachelor’s bottle Is Gd. 1.
