BIG CYCLE CARNIVAL
WESTERN SPRINGS MEETING A big cycling carnival is to be staged at the Western Springs Stadium on December 30, at 8 p.m. by the Manukau Amateur Cycling Club. The programme includes a two lap new members’ handicap, a one lap junior handicap, a three lap amateur handicap, and a four lap professional handicap. Another big race will be the five mile amateur scratch event. An attempt will be made on the New Zealand five-mile motor-paced record by Angus Mackie. All events will be run under the rules of the New Zealand Union of Cyclists. Entries close as advertised.
