CONFIRMATION SERVICE HELD A confirmation service was held in Christ Church, Papakura last evening, when Archbishop Aver ill confirmed 26 candidates. For the first time for many years the boys were in the majority, there being 17 boys and nine girls. There was a large congregation present. The Archbishop was accompanied by Archdeacon Simpkin as Bishop’s Chaplain. A memorial service is to be held tomorrow evening in memory of the late Mr. J. Batty.
