REMAND UNTIL THURSDAY “There are other charges pending,” said Chief-Detective Hammond, applying for a remand against Henry Tipuna at the Police Court this morning. Tipuna, a Alaori labourer aged 24, was charged with the theft of £ 9 15s in money, a suitcase, clothing, shoes, a hat and a leather wallet of a total value of £ls, the property of George Townsend. Tipuna, who was arrested by Detective McWhirter, pleaded guilty and was remanded until Thursday.
