BOUQUET OF CHRISTMAS LILIES CROW—O'LOUGHLIN A pretty evening wedding was celebrated at St. Matthew's Church recently, when Miss Elva Muriel O’Loughlin, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. O'Loughlin, of Selbourne Road. Grey Lynn, was married to Mr. Arthur Lewis Crow, second son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Crow, of Otahuhu. The officiat•ng clergyman was Canon Grant Cowen. Mr. Philpot presided at the organ. Given away by her father, the brid< looked charming in a frock of Ivor: georgette over satin of the same shade The overdress was beautifully hand 'painted in silver and pastel pinks an< greens, the skirt dipping gracefull: from a fitting corsage. From a Russian headdress her si! ■ver embroidered veil fell in long, sof folds to form a train, and she carrie' a shower bouquet of Christmas lilies roses and carnations, which were tie< with long tulle streamers. In attendance -on the bride a; matrons of honour, Mrs. Mathieson the bride’s sister, wore a frock of pal capucine georgette, with a large hi how and headdress of tulle and silver Her bouquet was of pale pink swee peas and roses. *" . Mr. George Crow fulfilled the ©f best man. A reception was held later at tn residence of the bride’s parents. Th rooms were delightfully arranged ii a colour scheme of pale pink flowers Mrs. O’Loughlin received the guest wearing a frock of navy blue maro cain. with a close-fitting hat of nav; fcatin trimmed with ospreys. Mrs. Crow wore heavily embroiderer frock of black georgette. with small black hat relieved with colouret flowers. The b ide travelled in a jumper sui of lime and black, embroidered in P-nl and lime, with a small black hat am fox fur.
