WHIPPET RACING
Tomorrow afternoon the Auckland Whippet Racing Club will hold its Christmas meeting at Blandford Park. Four races will be decided, and some interesting sport is anticipated. Although the sport is in its infancy in Auckland, it is very popular in the South Island, where regular meetings are held. One of the most interesting features of tomorrow’s programme will be the race over hurdles.
