SATIRE FROM TIMARU Press Association - TIMARU, Today. The Timaru section of the Post and Telegraph Officers’ Association yesterday carried the following resolution: “This meeting of the Timaru section congratulates members of Parliament upon the successful outcome of their salary problem, and reminds them that in the general division of the Post and Telegraph Department the salaries now paid are not only inadequate, but shameful.”
