LEGACIES OF £B,OOO

BEQUESTS TO CHURCH AND MISSIONS WILL OF MRS. HELEN BAIRD Missionary societies of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand will benefit to the extent of £6,000 under the will of the late Mrs. Helen Baird, of Fairview, Otahuhu, who died on December 2 in her S4th year. In addition bequests of £I,OOO each have been made to St. John’s Church, Papatoetoe, and to the Presbyterian Women’s Mission Union connected with that church. The individual bequests are £I,OOO to each of the following:—New Zealand Presbyterian Indian Mission. New Zealand Presbyterian New Hebrides Mission, New Zealand Canton Mission, Auckland Presbyterian Social Service Association, Presbyterian Maori Mission, Presbyterian Home Mission, Presbyterian Women’s Mission Union connected with St. John’s Church, Papatoetoe, St. John's Church, Papatoetoe. In addition there are a number of private bequests.
