PIGS FROM CANADA

FOUR ON STEAMER Three Large White sows and a boar arrived in Auckland this morning from Canada on the cargo steamer Canadian Conqueror. They are from the Oak Lodge Stock Farm of Ontario, and are consigned to Mr. Colin W. Anderson, of Kohimarama. Mr. D. Elliot, port inspector of stock, was on board the Canadian Conqueror this morning arranging for the animals to be removed to Motuihi this afternoon, where they will remain in quarantine for the usual period.
