A PROSPEROUS COMPANY
TATTERSFIELDS, LTD. A year of very satisfactory progress was reviewed by the chairman, Mr. J. "W. Tattersfield, at the annual meeting of Tattersfields, Ltd., held yesterday afternoon. In moving the adoption of the report and balance sneet, the chairman stated that the company had been a consistent dividend-payer, returning to shareholders a fraction under 9 per cent, throughout the whole of its history. Every effort was made to keep the plant and methods of administration up to date. Dealing with trade conditions generally, Mr. Tattersfield stated that, although there was a slight depression in financial circles at the moment, there was nothing to indicate that there was not a very prosperous future for not only the company, but industry generally in New' Zealand. The directorate, Messrs. J. W. Tattersfield, S. L. H4-tst, T. B. Clay, A. Howie Walker, R. G. Clark. F. G. Tattersfield and Mrs. E. S. Tattersfield, was re-elected unopposed.
