CENTRE SINGLES TOURNEY THIS AFTERNOON’S PLAY The final stages of the Auckland Bowling Centre’s singles tournament were reached this afternoon at the Carlton green. Four players were left In to fight out the final honours, viz., C. K. Hardley < West End), two lives, C. H. de La unity (Epsom). D. C. Fraser (Mt. Eden), and h Clarke (West End). The sJrth round was started under ideal bowling conditions. It resulted as follows: Fraser 20, v. Clarke 16; de Launay 14, v. Hardley 11.
