Evidence that deceased was very ' absentminded, and that his memory I was failing him. was given at the in- j quest on Saturday concerning the j death of William Shearer, aged 81, who j wandered from his home in Karori on | Saturday last, and was found dead i in a gully near the Karori cemetery on I Wednesday. The coroner, Mr. J. S. Barton, S.M'. ! said that the evidence led to a clear finding.
