STOLE DEAD SHEEP’S WOOL
YOUTH’S NAME SUPPRESSED From Our Own Correspondent NEW PLYMOUTH, Today. While out shooting a few days ago, a youth aged 19, of Patea, found a dead sheep lying in a paddock. He plucked the wool and sold it to a freezing company for 5s 3d. On Friday he appeared in the Patea Police Court to answer a charge of theft. The magistrate. Mr. J. H. Salmon. S.M., dismissed the charge and suppressed accused’s name on condition that restitution was made to the owner of the wool.
