GRAMOPHONE RECITAL

Another big gramophone recital has been arranged by the Columbia Gramophone Company and Lewis Eady. Ltd., similar to the •two previous successes, “Carmen” and “II Trovatore.” On this occasion Handel’s “Messiah,” as recorded by Columbia, is the attraction, and will be presented, complete with synchronised pictures in the Lewis Eady Hall on December 18 and 19. There will be no charge for admission.

Maurice Chevalier’s third all-talking Paramount production will be “The Big Pond,” one of New York’s stage successes of last year. Betty Lawford has been selected for the leading feminine role.
