ST. JAMES THEATRE

JIM GERALD’S REVUE “Nights of Joy,” the entertaining revue now being presented at the St. James Theatre by Mr. Jim Gerald and his talented company, is nightly attracting large audiences. This inimitable group of players can always be relied on to give the best in singing and dancing, and this week’s programme is no exception to the rule. As usual, Jim Gerald has the bulk of the comedy work to carry off. He.is excellent in the scene at the regimental dinner, where he provides amusement with his drunken gyrations. The remainder of the cast are also at the top of their form, and make this revue memorable for its dancing and vocal numbers. Next week the offering at this.theatre will comprise two attractions, “The Nigger Minstrels,” and, by special request, the favourite “A Millionaire for a Night.”
