MR. BAVIN’S SOBRIETY QUESTIONED DISGRACEFUL SCENES Reed. 11 a.m. SYDNEY, Today. Deploring the disgraceful scenes in the State Legislative Assembly on Wednesday, when the Leader of the Opposition, Mr. J. T. Lang was ejected, the Premier, Mr. T. R. Bavin, said most people shared his regret that politics had been reduced to such a level of degradation. Referring to an implication about his sobriety by members of the Opposition, Mr. Bavin said he felt that it was unnecessary for him to reply to such statements.
