SURVIVORS RESCUED

WRECK OF NORWICH CITY

ALL SAFE ON TRONGATE The survivors of the wrecked Norwich City, numbering 24, have been rescued by the steamer Trongate. Eleven of the crew, six of whom were Arabs, were drowned when the vessel went to pieces on Gardner Island, in the Phoenix Group. The following radio message was received in Wellington last night from Apia:—“At noon the Trongate had rescued all the survivors from the Norwich City.”
