WELLINGTON. Today. Hr. Edward William Kane, Clerk of the House of Representatives, has been appointed to be Clerk of Parliaments and Clerk of the Legislative Council, in succession to the late Mr. A r. Lowe, C.M.G. Mr. Kane is a son of the late Air. Henry Russell Kane. He was born «n Wellington and educated there, and after studying law for a short time joined the Parliamentary staff in He was appointed Clerk of the House of Representatives in 1920, when tne late Mr. Lowe became Clerk of Parliaments. -
