DANCE PARTY TO CELEBRATE COMING-OF-AGE
BIRTHDAY CARNIVAL AT POINT ERIN KIOSK
MISS NOTA CASEY A number of young people were entertained at a very jolly dance party at Point Erin Tea Kiosk on Wednesday evening, given by Mr. W. Casey to celebrate the coming-of-age of his daughter Nota. The dance room was attractively decorated with hanging baskets of ferns and tall bamboo plants. Supper was served on the verandah, the tables being decorated with larkspur of various shades. Music was supplied by Mr. George Wade’s orchestra. Mrs. Casey received the guests wearing a frock of bois de rose crepe de chine and lace, assisted by Miss Ima Casey in flame georgette and gold rose spray. Miss Nota Casey wore a model frock of pervenche blue georgette. AMONG THE GUESTS Mrs. IT. McCay wore gold lace and amber taffeta. Mrs. R. Newcombe was in cameo pink georgette, with frilled skirt. Mrs. D. Wright’s gown was of turquoise and apricot taffeta. Airs. W. Taylor wore black taffeta, with pink facings. Mrs. R. Wills had on green satin beaute. Mrs. H. P. Maguire chose a royal blue georgette frock. Airs. I’. Liddell was wearing a black beaded georgette gown. Airs. R. Paul's gown was of black beaded georgette. Airs. H. Goodwin had on a gown of white chiffon, hand-made lace bodice. Aliss Janet Wallace had on an ivory georgette frock, with spray of orchids. Afiss Ailsa Lewis was in leaf green and silver lace, with shoulder posy of roses. Aliss Eve Cassidy’s gown was of pink satin and blue georgette. Aliss Betty Colwill chose sea green taffeta, with salmon velvet bow. Aliss Joyce Colwill had on a lacquer red georgette gown. Aliss Alae Furness . chose a gown of black lace, with diamente trimming. Aliss Alona AlcLennan was wearing daffodil georgette, with willow green relief. Aliss Grace Feek’s gown was ox ivory satin beaute, green shoulder trail. Aliss T. Stewart’s gown was of pink satin, with draped skirt. Miss B. Chrisp wore powder blue frilled georgette and taffeta. Aliss Alina Kronfeld was in a black beaded gown. Aliss Jean Foreman’s frock was of blue shaded georgette. Aliss May Tyrrell was in a pink taffeta and silver lace frock. Aliss Alavis Alannack was wearing flame embossed ninon and georgette. Aliss D. Peters wore floral green taffeta, Victorian frock. Aliss Zoe Haynes chose lime taffeta and tulle frills. Aliss Phil Andrews wore a ring velvet frock of black and rose. Miss Olive ATonks had on eau de nil taffeta and tulle.
