ROXY

“THE FLYING FOOL” Exceptionally fine entertainment is promised in the splendid programme to be shown at the popular Roxy Theatre this evening. The two feature films are "The Flying Fool/’ an all-talking production. and “Noisy Neighbours.” The former picture has an absorbing theme dealing with adventure in the air, and has in the leading role William Boyd, one of the most successful actors of the silent screen. Boyd is said to give an outstanding portrayal and is supported by a strong cast, which includes Marie Prevost, Russell Gleason and Tom O’Brien. “Noisy Neighbours,” the second attraction, is a part “talkie,” with Eddie Quillan in the principal roie, and should provide good entertainment. An excellent array of short supporting films will be shown.

Four veteran stage and screen actors appear with Harold Lloyd in his first talking picture for Paramount, “Welcome Hanger.'* They are Noah Young, Charles Middleton, William Walling and James Wang, veteran Chinese actor. “Welcome ’Danger*’ will be released shortly in New Zealand.
