TWO BIG FILMS AT LYRIC

Two entirely different yet excellent silent pictures make up the bright programme to be presented at the Lyric Theatre this evening. The first film, “The Way of All Flesh,” stars the great emotional actor, Emil Jannings, in one of his best dramas. It is the story of a man who led a blameless and respected life for 50 years, but with a sudden temptation came his downfall and his degradation. The second feature is “Now We’re in the Air.” a happy comedy of fun and fancy among the aviators, starring the entertaining comedy team, Wallace Beery and Raymond Hatton.
