A large number of owners who annually patronise the Hawera j Trotting Club’s Easter carnival, ! and move along a few days later to New Plymouth, are pleased with the appointment of Mr. C. E. Goosman as handicapper for the Taranaki fixture. The Hamilton ad- ! juster, whose ability is attracting attention from various clubs in the North Island, allots the marks at Hawera. and after viewing the rac- ; ing there will be in a position to frame a most equitable adjustment for New Plymouth.
