probable riding engagements for the Auckland Cup: Star Stranger, Roy Reed; Historic, B. H. Morris; Pegaway, A. E. Ellis; In the Shade, H. Goldfinch; Count Cavour, C. Eastwood; Shrewd, H. Wiggins; and Paquito, probably T. Green. A. Eastwood has been commissioned to ride Great Star in the A.R.C. Railway Handicap.
