FIRE DAMAGES WASHHOUSE
Damage to a washhouse and verandah was caused by a fire which broke out in a house at 106 Green Lane, Remuera, at about 11.20 this morning. The fire, which originated in the washhouse, where a copper-fire had been left unattended, was suppressed by the Remuera brigade. The house is owned and occupied by Mr. G. Kay.
