THRILLS AT LUNA PARK
AMAZING ENTERTAINMENT
Mystery and thrills make the hair stand on end at Luna Park. Nothing has yet been seen to equal the mystery act, "Death on the Guillotine,’’ which is presented by Leighton Hamilton, the man who has baffled the magicians. A young woman is strapped to the stocks of the guillotine and a huge knife, weighing 551 b., falls on her neck, severing the head from the body. Then the head is picked up and carried round the stage, amusing the audience by its witty sayings. Tinwhole act takes place within three feet of the audience. Another wonder-show is “Cannonball Joe." He is a monkey, and operates a petrol-driven motor-car. Then there are Dempsey and Heeney, two boxing pigs which have amused the world. Marjorie Van Camp, their ownertrainer, has a wonderful entertainment with her Piccadilly Circus. Other performing pigs are Pork Chops. Freckles, Ham, Bacon and Kpare Ribs—all of them amazing in their amusing performances.
