MOTOR CYCLING MISHAP

PEDESTRIAN INJURED

Severe head injuries were suffered by Mr. E. T. Bird, aged 43, of Glenfield Road, Birkenhead, as the result of being knocked down by a motorovcle driven by Mr. A. Robert, aged 18, at Birkenhead, at about 1.45 this morning. Both men were removed to the Public Hospital. Mr. Bird's condition is stated to be fairlv serious, while that of Mr. Robert, who also suffered minor head injuries, is satisfactory.
