The first round of matches in the Auckland Suburban Cricket Association's mid-week competition was played at Victoria Park yesterday afternoon. The “Herald ’ and Post and Telegraph each secured wins over the. Auckland Milk Company and the Philomel respectively, while the Pacific Cable Board won by default from the Navy.
