VISIT TO WELLINGTON
MAYOR’S BUSINESS TRIP
Tlie Mayor of Auckland. Mr. G. Baildon, returned to Auckland this morning after attending meetings in Wellington yesterday. In tlie morning Mr. Baildon was occupied at a meeting of the executive of the Municipal Association. Considerable time was given to examination and classification of remits to be discussed at the Municipal Conference to be held in Invercargill next March.
In the afternoon his Worship was present at a meeting of the Cancer Research Society Council. Questions affecting the constitution of that body were discussed and the honorary solicitor asked to report on amendments to rules.
