EARLY ISSUE BY POST OFFICES

FIGHTING TUBERCULOSIS A special issue of stamps to raise money to aid tuberculosis sufferers will bo issued at post bfficcs throughout the Dominion within a few days. Known as the “Christmas Heal,'’ each st amp will cost 2d and contain a penny for postage and a penny for the antituberculosis fund. The scheme gives an opportunity to those who can contr buto only very modestly to charitable works. The stamps may be used for letters al over the world. "When stamping receipts it must be remembered to afix two. thus providing 2d for the du tv and 2d for the health fund. The money so raised will be used to set up health camps for children suffering from tuberculosis, in cases where the parents are too poor to send the children away for treatment. Postal officials have been instructed to bring the stamps under the notice of the general public and special advertising posters will be issued.
