HUGE ORCHESTRA

BOHEMIAN’S CONCERT TOMORROW The largest orchestra ever heard in New Zealand will be heard at the Bohemian Orchestra’s concert in the Town Hall tomorrow evening. It will b€> composed of over 100 performers, as the Bohemians will be augmented by members of the Auckland Professional Musicians* Union. Among the items to be presented are “Raymond” Overture (Thomas), the “1812 Overture” (Tschaikowsky); “Cradle Song” (Schubert, arranged by Colin Muston): Wagner’s grest overture, “Tannhauser”; French Horn solo, “Angels Guard Thee” (Godiird, arranged by Trevor Sparling), pliyed by Mr. Harry Benn; “Theme and Six Diversions” (German); and “Air On G String” (Bach). The vocalists for the evening will be Miss Millicent O’Grady and Mr. R Richards. Details of subscription, seating and membership are advertised.
