FOUR TRANSFERS

LICENSING COMMITTEE MEETS Four transfers of licences were approved when the City Licensing Committee met in- the Magistrate’s Court at noon today. Mr. E. C. Cutten, S.M., presided over the quarterly meeting, and with him on tho Bench were Messrs. W. Casey, E. Eeydcn, G. IT. Dothaby and J. Grace. The following transfers of licences were granted: Queen’s Ferry, \V. E. Grant to A. E. Blackwell; Star, Albert Street, It. J. Nightingale to W. J. Paterson; Carlton Club, Newmarket, E. G- Twohill to P. Kinninmont; Prince of Wales, H. C. F. Norman to J. R, Hill. Mr. J. C. Malfroy, clerk ol’ the committee, assured the committee that the police reports were satisfactory and the meeting was closed after a sitting which lasted only two minutes.
